CT PROSPECT — Library Board approves summer programs and LED lighting upgrade. The Prospect Library Board, led by Chairperson Sue McKernan and including Director John Wiehn, unanimously approved operational updates at its June 11 meeting. The library will launch its 2026 Summer Reading program on June 26 with over 35 programs planned for children and families, supported by donations from the Friends of the Library and local businesses.
The board also unanimously approved a $600.64 transfer from Capital Improvements to Contracted Maintenance for LED lighting upgrades and approved transitioning to email-only overdue notices starting July 3, with a Fine-Free Month planned for July.
