Board of Recreation approves fitness room flooring

CT PROSPECT — The Board of Recreation approved $4,342 in Titan Flooring funding for fitness room improvement. Steven Bainer, chair, joined members M. Witham, Lia Pankake, and Semir Dervski in unanimous approval.
The board additionally authorized a $221.49 budget transfer from the High School Basketball program to support middle school boys and girls basketball playoffs. The director reported record interest in spring programs; the fiber arts afterschool offering is approaching its 20-person capacity and indoor cycling classes are full.
