CT PROSPECT — Prospect Water Authority appoints Wihbey as chair. A full-time firefighter, Chris Wihbey was unanimously confirmed during a March 25 special meeting alongside members David Cocchiola and Peter Blinstrubas; Frank Monteiro was absent. The board discussed security upgrades at three meter stations (Pond Place, Aria, Regency) following tampering at the Aria location and considered implementing key cards or passcodes.
The Authority contracts with Knapp Engineering for monthly sample retrieval and testing under state-mandated requirements, and cancelled its April 16 regular meeting, scheduling a tentative special meeting for April 14 at 6 p.m.
