misc · Meeting of March 25, 2026

CT PROSPECT — Water Pollution Control Authority appoints Chris Wihbey as chair at special March meeting. The board unanimously appointed Wihbey, a full-time firefighter, to the position. The Authority oversees wastewater monitoring at Pond Place, Aria, and Regency on Progress Lane, with sampling and testing managed through Knapp Engineering.

The board addressed a security breach at the Aria station, which was found unlocked with evidence of tampering, and discussed installing key card or passcode access at all stations. The board canceled its April 16 regular meeting and tentatively scheduled a special meeting for April 14.
